  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder (adjust to taste)
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
  • 4 cups water or vegetable broth
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

How To Make

(1)Prepare the Ingredients: Wash the moringa leaves thoroughly. Peel and cut the drumsticks into 2-inch pieces.Chop the onion, tomatoes, and green chili.
(2)Cook the Drumsticks: Heat oil in a pot over medium heat.Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.Add chopped onions, garlic, and ginger. Sauté until the onions are golden brown.
(3)Add Spices: Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for 2 minutes.
(4)Add Tomatoes: Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they are soft and the oil starts to separate.
(5)Add Drumsticks and Moringa Leaves: Add the drumstick pieces and moringa leaves to the pot. Mix well with the spices.
(6)Cook Soup: Pour in the water or vegetable broth and bring the soup to a boil. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and let it simmer for about 15-20 minutes or until the drumsticks are tender.
