Recepie Of Amla Juice

Recepie

Amla juice is known for its high vitamin C content and potential health benefits. Including it in your diet can be a refreshing and nutritious addition. Adjust the sweetness and other ingredients according to your taste preferences.

    Ingredients

  • 6-8 fresh amla (Indian gooseberry)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1-2 tablespoons honey or jaggery (optional, for sweetness)
  • A pinch of black salt or regular salt (optional)

How To Make

(1)Prepare Amla: Wash the amla thoroughly and deseed them. Cut the amla into small pieces for easier blending.
(2)Blend Amla: In a blender, add the chopped amla pieces and water. Blend until you get a smooth and consistent mixture. You can strain the juice later if you prefer a smoother texture, but keeping the fiber is also beneficial.
(3)Strain (Optional): If desired, strain the blended mixture using a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth to remove the pulp. Press the mixture with the back of a spoon to extract as much juice as possible.
(4)Sweeten (Optional): Add honey or jaggery to the amla juice if you prefer a sweeter taste. Start with 1-2 tablespoons and adjust according to your sweetness preference.
(5)Add Salt (Optional): Add a pinch of black salt or regular salt for a hint of savory flavor. This is optional and can be adjusted based on your taste.
(6)Mix Well: Stir the juice well to ensure that any added sweeteners or salt are thoroughly mixed.
(7)Serve: Pour the amla juice into a glass and serve it fresh. You can add ice cubes if you prefer a chilled drink.
(8)Store: Amla juice is best consumed fresh. However, if you have leftover juice, you can refrigerate it for a day or two. Shake or stir well before serving if any settling occurs.
